layin the wood today

Marlins(-230) & RL(-109)
Josh Johnson is coming off of his first loss in 7 starts and will pitch much better against a woeful Mets team that just lost the only thing goin for them in Santana. JJhas given up 3 runs or fewer in 21 of his previous 22 starts, and against a awful lineup like the Mets have thrown together he should be able to contain. JJ is 6-0 posting a 2.05 era in 8 career starts against the Mets and will hopefully get back to dominate form and keep the Marlins in the wildcard chase.

small play on the Orioles tonight as well

Orioles(+148)
Blackburn has been awful lately and has not won a game since July 10th. The Orioles have some bats that can knock around a guy like blackburn and thats what im looking for tonight.

bol to all lets make some $$ tonight

"The Twins have some bats that can knock around a guy like Guthrie and thats what im looking for tonight."

I understand both pitchers have the potential to get knocked around bad, but the Twins are solid at home, and the Twins have 4 guys that can hit homers at any time. I would guess that Blackburn is due for a good start, and this is a good spot at home where he should get some good run support. Guthrie has been piling up the BB's, and that is definitely not the recipe for a win on the road against a good home team with power. But I understand your thought process. Best of Luck but I think the Twins get the sweep as they are in a tight play-off race as well; and these are the games they NEED.

I like the Marlins play, though. Mets are horrible.

t's just a small play i personally see some value. Blackburn is not good against the orioles and I try to never place my bets on someone being due as that has lost me plenty of $$ but to each his own. bol on your plays! and let's hit those Marlins:toast:
