I'm adding one bet to my card for today. The Falcons line has moved against me due to the Lions playing their starters for a couple series and the public loving Hard Knocks. Once in a while I am going to end up with a bad number, but that happens to everyone. The goal is to have good closing line value more often then bad, as I do in the Jaguars game. Be sure to shop around for the best line, especially in the pre-season. For example, I see -1 through -2.5 in favor of the Bengals in their game tonight against Arizona.

Bad call with the Bills under. They hit the over by themselves. I’m going to keep taking unders in games where the two teams had joint practices. It was successful last night in both cases and I think we could see a game in the 27-32 point range.

FD has -4 with the Vikings. If you only have -4.5, I would still play it. But that’s each individual bettor’s call. It also doesn’t hurt to wait and see if it goes down to -4 at your book. Even if the line moves up a half point, 5 is not a football number.
