It seems like the players the Lakers acquired from Minnesota aren’t going to play tonight. With LeBron out as well, the Lakers are pretty thin. I think this could be pretty one-sided. Brook Lopez and Giannis are certainly good enough defensively to keep AD from carrying LA to the finish line.

Needless to say, my Suns bets to win the west and win the title are looking much better today. I’m not going to hit their win total over, but I should have four viable teams to win it all with Phoenix joining Boston, Philly and Milwaukee.

Going back to the well with a Nets over and Thomas over on points. Claxton is out for the Nets who has been their best defender all year. DeRozan is back in the lineup after resting in their last game with a hip issue. I expect Thomas to get plenty of shots and minutes with Bridges and Johnson inactive for this game.

I think this line is going to move in my favor. There is no reason for anyone on the Clippers to rest, the Bucks played tonight. Maybe Middleton rests for injury management. I think the Clippers will feel a little reinvigorated with the moves the team made at the deadline. They moved on from Reggie Jackson who was complaining about being moved to the bench in favor of Terrence Mann. LA needed another big man which they got in that deal by acquiring Plumlee. They also swapped out Kennard for Eric Gordon who is basically a more proven version of Kennard. I like the Clippers to get a win and look good doing it the way Dallas did against the Clippers Wednesday night.

I want to bet the Suns against the Pacers, but I want to wait on injury information for that game. Booker is supposed to be back in the lineup after resting tonight. The Suns are a little shorthanded with Durant and Warren both out with injuries. I guess there's a chance Warren plays tomorrow if he is deemed healthy. I want to make sure Paul is playing as well. The spread won't move that much and I will feel better knowing who is playing.

I would love to bet Charlotte due to Denver potentially resting Murray and others today. However, it’s Charlotte, who did not look great against a depleted Celtics roster last night. The other bet I’m going to make is the Kings. This is a duplex game as the Kings lost to Dallas last night. Dallas got up 20 after one quarter and that was pretty much that. There are whispers that Luka will be back tonight. I’m waiting on that to become official before I make any final decisions.

What a beat. Memphis just kept fouling despite the game being over. Celtics took and made four extra free throws in the final 20 seconds that were unnecessary and I lose by a point.

I’m taking a risk here with the Wizards. I think Kuzma is going to be back tonight and I expect Beal to be in the lineup. The other team I am considering is the Clippers. It sounds like Klay is actually going to play both games of the Warriors back to back. Still, they played last night and I think these types of nights will be when the Warriors miss Steph the most. Golden State has been horrible on the road and the Clippers are well rested. Still, I’ll make sure Kawhi is playing before I pull the trigger on LA.

I expect the Mavericks game to be a laugher. I think it’s very possible Luka’s minutes are down due to the game being over in the fourth quarter. There also will be a bit of an adjustment period playing alongside Kyrie.
