Wow. COLOSSAL chokejob by the M's there. Bases loaded, 1 out, a guy on the mound who can't throw a strike to save his life, and you can't do anything against him. Cedeno choking doesn't surprise me because he's one of the worst hitters in the majors, but that Ichiro at bat was pathetic. Ahead in the count 2-0 and he swings at ball 3 and fouls out. Amazing. Hopefully Aardsma can close the door, but something tells me the Sox will finally decide to start swinging the bats now that they have to.

F'ing beautiful. Red Sox will be a huge fave tomorrow, but Boston ML will be my biggest bet of the year without a doubt. If they can't win 1 of 3 at home against the M's they have no heart, and I won't bet on them again the rest of the year.

wow good luck tomorrow peter

Thanks. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I'm putting the mortgage on it or anything. I'm just saying it will be a big play for me (I typically bet pretty small in bases since it's so unpredictable).

Maybe I'm wrong, but I'd be very surprised if the Sox don't break out tomorrow. Trying to avoid the sweep, at home, Morrow has been pretty bad in his starts, plus the Sox didn't show up today so I expect a good effort from them tomorrow. And since I follow the M's I can tell you that they are absolutely THRILLED that they are now 5-3 on this road trip, considering they had to play the Dodgers, Yankees and Red Sox.

I'm sure they would like to win tomorrow, but they will still be happy even if they lose. They just won't have much motivation IMO. I honestly don't think it will be close, but it sure as hell wouldn't be the first time I've been wrong.

i may tail you on those thought tomorrow peter..

Well GL if you play it, but I hope you don't go big on it just because I am. The way that I pick games is much, much different than most people who bet on bases. I don't do a lot of number crunching, looking at who the umps are, etc., I just try to pick spots where I think I have an advantage.

Tomorrow's game is a good example... I would be willing to bet most people would look at the way the Sox offense played today and it would make them want to lay off of them tomorrow, or even fade them. I look at it more like a good hitting team like the Sox, who plays well very at home, and who is trying to avoid getting swept by an inferior team, will probably play a helluva lot better tomorrow.

And like I said before, the M's are probably celebrating their asses off in the clubhouse right now knowing that they just pulled off a winning road trip against 3 of the best teams in baseball. They even said before they went on the road that their goal was to have a winning road trip. Well, they got it.

But anything can, and often does, happen in baseball. So who the hell knows?

GL with your plays...
