That should not be correct goodcall, and correct me if i'm wrong. BoS bought Mill and VO Group and as a public owned company it can't say that they are not reliable for those funds as much as they can't tell their employees that they won't get paid. Even employees can sue them from CR to England but, true, that's a different situation. When they bought, they bought balances as much as debts.

P.S. Forgot to quote, oops...

And by this I just mean that BoS should pay. The Rx should not and cannot be held responsible for anything that's going on. Insurance was OBVIOUSLY in the case of a no-payout or descrepancy and you should've all taken it this way. It's absurd that everyone now expects that the Rx makes up for what your own government did to u guys. Ask THEM to fix it for you...

Question.............

With BOS not planning on taking US customers, what can the RX do to expedite payouts? I mean why would you guys be able to make sure that "your" customers get paid before others?

I understand why you want information for the guarantee thing, but why do you need it now if you are not willing to pay out until BOS fails to?

Thanks for your efforts, Rick. I send you details regarding my Millenium and VWager accounts. Judging from the BOS advertising here and the well known fact that they (BOS) were really MVP, Millenium, VWager, etc etc etc I think that all these other books should really be treated the same way.

I say this is BS. How does TheRX have any pull with these people anymore. They stiffed people when they were a paying for adds. Now they don't even do that. Rick , Will and the rest of you here need to wake up. BOS was and is a scam book to begin with. Now all the sudden with all this shit going on you think you can get the money back. This just goes to show that you shouldn't make empty promises. BOS has no intention of paying. Get those checks ready RX.

Can we get this straight? BOS will return an amount equal to your total deposits?
Case One. Deposit $1000. Won $4000 more. Only get back $1000.
Case Two. Deposit $1000. Lose it all. Still get back $1000.
Is this correct?

Does anybody have a guess on this.I keep hearing that we are "owed" our deposit back. Not that anything is for sure at all but You hear that from Doj,rx,and all these reports from other sites. What does "deposit back mean" just the very last deposit? Most recent? This year? Not every persons balance was all funded from "one deposit".When balance got low they reload so I dont know how they can pin the current balance just from one deposit and say that is what would be owed.
What about guy that made lots of deposits but a month before they closed down his balance went to zero.He then sent a $500 deposit and at closure has $5500.Is he only owed $500?

BOS is never going to pay anything.

BOS has not paid to date - there are only two reasons for this:

They do not have the money.
They do not have the intention to pay.

Obviously if they do not have the intention to pay, they will not. They are under no regulatory agency, their accounts likely can not be seized, etc.

If they do not have the money, it is incredibly unlikely that they will ever have the money. If 98% of their business came from the US, the 2% from elsewhere aint gonna pay the 98%. BOS got hit a horrible time right after spending millions on football advertising.

BOS were idiots - their processors took their money and now it is on hold. They will never get it back because now that they closed everyone will file chargebacks.

If I were BOS, I would have sent out an email to my customers explaining that the processors had the money on hold and withdrawals would be delayed until the hold was lifted in ___ days. I would have then gone on the function normally and kept taking bets. People would not have panicked and they would still be in business.

But as it is, the only money anyone is going to see is whatever some of these watchdogs decide to pay in guarantees.

I thought I read somewhere they kept one of their books open to focus strictly on the Asian market. If that is true, couldnt they transfer everything into that book and begin payouts?

Ace, you are missing the point.

BOS does not have the money they are supposed to have. If they did, they would not have closed. The US restraining order has no effect on them - there is no way the US can shut them down. The only effect the restraining order had on them is that it would cause a lot of withdrawals and BOS did not have the money to cover them.

BOS spent your money on advertising, sportscars, and some is tied up with card processors...

If BOS had all players balances in hand, they would say "Thank you DOJ for a bunch of publicity, put up a note on their website stating they will not be following the DOJ restraining order as they have no jurisdiction and business would be as usual.

I am beginning to believe the DOJ went after BOS because they knew they would fold.

No, they went after them because they were the Sugardaddy of advertising. Unlike in 04 when they tried to bluff the advertisers, this time they went after the payee and collaspsed the vast majority of the advertisers as well as other realated fields. Much more effective. Its apparent from the court order that the Feds thought advertising was instant and that they could stop the football ads before foots started.

Also with open regulation coming to the UK and with an eye on America they were a monster threat to our national interest and needed to act quick.

Remember they did not get the indictment till June 1st. They sat on the information for over a year before acting.
