It was nice and easily the classiest in AC. The place was packed full opening week. Very clean and huge selection of machines and table games. Real nice gourmet restaraunts with some top chefs. They have bought there own farm so they grow there own produce and plants.

My wife and I went to the buffet and it was just ok. Me myself I guess I expected the Bellagio in Atlantic City. It is not that but can rival most Las Vegas casinos. Reminds me of the Monte Carlo.

My friend went down for four days, said it was fantastic.Free heinkins in the horse room. The showers in the bathroom are huge,he did'nt want to get out.He hung out in the vip i room and said it was first class. Told me the towels are the best thing you could rap three people in one towel. Told me the cocktail waitress are wearing close to nothing,Alot of big money players there. Begging me to try and get rooms. I say it can't be done he said they are giving rooms away for the the first few months. However can't get threw to book them.

id i'm not mistake joe lupo left the "stardump" to go there - so maybe shrinkie-poo or someone else who knows how to contact him can have him drop by here and say a few words (and knowing joe - a few words is all we would get).

ust went there Saturday, but did not stay over.

Best thing: Noodles from around the world, small restuarant in the Asian playing area.
2nd Best: Borgotta Babes, lots of cleavage, although only 1 or 2 10's, lots of 7's and 8's
3rd Best: Artwork, Flowers, circular layout
4th Best: Free parking outside

Place was not really crowded for a saturday.
There were not enough cocktail waitresses.
Played some Pai Gao, the dealers didn't know the game that well.

That said, it is 100% better than any other AC casino.

Did you try the slots, I read they don't release coins? Gives a ticket instead? How does that work? Do you have to cash in each time? I'm headed there in a couple weeks.

There is no such thing as a great casino in Atlantic City. This would simply be an oxymoron. Until the management hires some nice people who understand the true importance of people skills and kindness, they could build a better Bellagio in terms of aesthetics, and it would still be a disappintment. I have never been treated worse by people in my life than I have in Atlantic City. And that includes my trip to France. the bottom line is that the people who work in the casinos in Atlantic City SUCK. this is no knock against the wonderful people of Jersey, as i have many of my best friends who call the Garden State home.

My wife plays the slots.
The 1st machine you insert dollars. When you want to cash out you get a paper slip. You can either go to a nearby machine and input the slip and get cash, or insert the slip into another machine. If you insert the slip into another machine, all the credits are transfered (if you want a cash payout you have to go to a non slot machine).
My wife didn't like this set-up herself.

A lot, if not all, casinos in AC are phasing this in now, for slots as well as video poker. Not all the machines have the ticket readers, so you do have to cash in sometimes.

To me this is 100% better than carrying around dirty change.
