I know a lot of posters here have been shown the door at different books for "excessive winning", but do any ever let you back? Maybe with new mgmt. or a lapse of time they might let you play there again. Is this the case? Just curious to hear some responses, thanks.

Why would you ever want to go back? If a book kicks you out it means they are weak. If they are weak that means they are kicked around by others, also. If a lot of people are kicking them around and they sweat paying winners they might go broke.

It's a catch 22 that is not worth it - even for good numbers.

I can make half your dream a reality Dante, but you're all by your own on the excessive winning part...

I really didn't know that that many books still boot winners. I thought that they simply cut your limits dramatically. Just curious, is this a well known book?

I have never been 86'd from an offshore, but quite often in Nevada. I think my limits have been cut at 7 stores in the last 6 months. Some drastically. I think I am in only one of those anymore, as they just requested I call in. I prefer to work with people and keep the ball rolling. As long as the books balance, it would be counterproductive to boot any player. Best Wishes...OF

Rio Shill,

Sportsinteraction is the book. I know many will say its not smart to play there, but I never had a problem. They were always reasonably quick to payout and their lines were great for a dog player like myself. I would love the opportunity to play there again...sometime.

Very good point. If books make an attempt to balance the bests, then that correlates to the more money wagered, the more money earned. The only players who should even be cut down are the "pure steam" variety.

Why not just cut someone's limit and then leave them the option to leave if they don't like it? This one just stumps me. If you are sharp and they tell you that you can't hit them for more than a nickel a pop, chances are pretty good you won't be giving them much action. If I was booking I would gladly take anyone's action within reason. If the guy was constantly beating me to the number I could see a reason to cut his limit, but outright banning? I just don't get that one.

i think most of the banning isnt about winning .its about beating them to the line change.
