Hello all, I'm a long time lurker and I have finally decided to sign up because there are some real characters on this site and some good information being shared. Have to admit, I'm a big Beantown Jim fan already!

Here's my situation- I sent an email to bookmaker on 1/22 requesting them to restrict my casino access, well nothing was ever done. Well, like a dumbsh** I lost $500 on 1/24 and another $500 on 1/26. I sent them a email seeing if there is anything they can do as far as a partial refund and they won't give me answer. Am I wrong in doing this? I am not a huge player but I deposit quite often and $1000 is a lot to lose when I asked them the restrict my casino access on 1/22. I value all feedback and ripping, knowing this site %^_

Thanks in advance!

So had you won a grand, and they took it away because your casino access should be been gone on 1/22, you'd be ok with that?

I can understand your frustration but I don't think you have an argument for a refund. You have to take responsibility, no?

Thanks for the input, I agree it was my fault for losing the money, but I also appreciate Viejo Dinosaur's statement, it takes 10 seconds to do this. To answer your questions, there is no way in hell I would return the money if I won :) No biggie, Bookmaker has given me the usual courtesy token (which I did turn $50 into $425) and an entry into the Saturday night BJ tournament. Their Customer Service is definitely getting better.
