The rates are super cheap but says you don't know details till after booking.

Are these standby flights or something?

its not standby. it will just choose any airline. most likely if you are bidding low, it will be frontier, spirit, etc....

not worth it IMO! Tried with a hotel one time and was not happy. I'd rather pay for where I want to stay or fly out of.

That and you have no idea on connections, etc. Could be flying from say Omaha to Chicago and get routed awful routes and times

thanks for the reponse guys. I knew there had to be a catch. I'm trying to get my daughter down from San Fran to the San Diego on a one way flight this weekend last minute.

So it sounds like the flights are not direct.

I love it for hotels. Typically get a 4 star hotel for 125 bucks or so. Flying is probably another story.

I usually go to priceline to get a price, then go to airline ... Sometimes it's cheaper
