The line went up to 220... this implies that people are betting over and the book is trying to balance it out and get people to bet under. So it actually makes sense why he would need under bc majority of players are betting over.

I could be totally wrong but this is how I understand it.

But most of the lines you need, all favor you. I have so many lines n also know so many books personally. Always discuss about players n lines. They all tell me the same. Players are smarter now, they shop for best lines n best vig.
This is NOT to bash you but I am seating here with friends as we always get together for a drink while watching the game. We all been gambling for so long n I’m showing your thread to them. All shaking their heads to how your players would just ‘blindly’ bet your line which are always not favoring them...

I didn’t say that the line was made up. I understand that lines fluctuate. My concern is that BR always has the advantage over his players with his lines.
BR posted 220.5 n needed under, I would understand if the line was 218.5 (at one point it was 218) n he needed under.

My info says the line got as high as 221 at SIA. Even higher than posted here.

Lots of "squares" will still bet into a line that high with the over. That's how books like SIA, Bovada, etc stay in business for many years.

His players regardless of lines have been doing EXTREMELY well of late but BR is the one to confirm deny or pass on that statement.

Perhaps its been explained before ? Plays posted in bookiereport threads over the course of time seem to hit aprox. 50/50 ( maybe shaded a bit to BR's side). So I'm sure the bookie makes a profit from the juice over time but how does the normal bettor profit from or use this information ? Just curious , I'm not trying to stir up trouble and I have nothing against this thread or BR.
