Bonus clearing question (stupid)

I am trying to clear my bonus on the site I deposited onto. I am $241 into my $1500 requirement to clear $150. I am curious, though, about one thing. There are some props where I would put the whole bankroll on because they are such ridiculous favorites (i.e. the underdog to win a soccer match 3-0 at -25000).

If I bet $250 to win $1, will that count as $1 met or $250 met for my bonus? It's kind of a dumb question but I don't want to risk the whole role, unlikely proposition or not, if it's only going to net me $1 on my betting requirements to clear my bonus.

Thx! :toast:

So really, if I clear 10% of my bonus with one bet and net +1 or +2 dollars, that's the effect of going +15 for the bet in terms of bonus clearing. Interesting...

depends on the book and the rules of the bonus, some places will count the amt risked and others the net win. also some places have caps on what will count towards bonus rollovers. most places won't count anything over -200 against a rollover. if you're not sure ask the book they will tell you

If you are worrying about collecting a bonus this much, you should quit wagering immediately! Good Luck

This is the correct answer.

Some books go on amount bet, others go on amount won/lost.

Don't up your bet sizes though to try to reach the bonus. Just go at your own pace.

No. It's the money put into play.

You wagered it, you bet it that counts towards the rollover.

Maybe at some books, but certainly not at all. Check with some of the sponsors (like Skybook), and they will tell you the same thing.

And if Skybook says they don't, then I will show them this thread the next time I inquire about how far along I am for a bonus

wrong. 90% of the time it is the lessor of the 2.

If you are saying what the Poster that started the thread with High Juice Laying -250 and Up, you could be Right. Depends on the Book.

But if you are Telling that the -110,-115, -120 ( Normal Juice ) doesn't count...Try Again

You, being the Bonus King ( Past Bonus King ) Got screwed from whichever Book wouldn't let you use those #'s above for your Bonus

I might have Only Ran a Credit Shop, But I know what a Rollover is

Totally disagree.

If I was eligible for bonuses at the Top 5 books (which I am not), I would never pass it up.

One way to clear a bonus is to try scalping. It's easier in the spring/summer because of the 10 cent baseball lines.

a) With $600, put $200 in two accounts, take bonuses, play a +EV scalp if possible.

b) All the money will go to one account, put the remaining money in the account at which you lost money and ask for a reload bonus. Scalp again if you can or take a loss for a few cents if you have to. If you're lucky, the money in the two accounts will go back and forth and rollover will be met.

c) Put cash in a third book,.... rinse and repeat.

You're going to tell me that's the same with Normal juice ?? :think2:

Yep. Many books have it like that. I haven't played at enough books to unequivocally say whether this is a minority or a majority of books, but I can tell you from my experiences that it is more common to calculate the payout than the wager amount.

But if you're playing a Parlay ?? They're not going to credit you with that Payout ?? Wouldn't make sense

This is the provision that many books have:

Rollover amounts for each wager are based on the lesser amount of risk or win in each selection.

Pulled straight from the 5Dimes webpage.

Guess that's why I don't play at any Post-up shops.

Or wouldn't take the Bonus, which I guess is an Option

They have to do it like that though.

Like you said before, if it's on the base amount than I can play a bunch of chalk to get out of that book quicker. If it's on the to win amount, than I can play a ton of dogs to get out quicker. If a book didn't do it like that and offered juicy bonuses, they would get tons of action from bonus whores and scalpers.

True, but maybe a Limit could be put in place.

Nothing more than -110 and nothing higher than +120
Would it make that much of a Difference ?

I could see the point with +200, +250, etc
