The Greek doesn't want to grade wagers on Barry Bonds breaking Hank Aaron's HR record THIS YR until after the season is over, citing that "future bets aren't graded during the season". However, this is not a future win total in which a certain number of games need to be played to make the bet valid. The record was broken and should the season end tomorrow, the bet is still a winner. Am i wrong?

Seems they would want to grade it and have the money available for more wagering...

Greek often has cust serv reps who say something like this and a day or two later management fixes it...

If everything you have said regarding the wager is true, I would be very surprised if it was not graded today. The Greek grades faster than anyone.

Most books will not allow mid level management grave yard personell to grade long standing futures that become final at for example 1 or 2 AM EDT. They are there to enter the routine scores that finish late because they are being played on the west coast but a long standing months old future is going to have to wait for the light of day when the top supervisors are working can make the decisions. I have to believe players that have waited since the season began can survive until office hours the next day when it comes to getting credited for futures.

In this case The Greek.com may well make the decision at the top to grade the prop after the season is over with the rest of the seasonal baseball props. I certainly cannot speak for what The Greek.com is going to do here.

Personally I would email their CSD and ask now that it is around 10AM EDT. and find out if a special call was made by upper management.

I sent a link to this thread to a supervisor at The Greek.com.

SBG Global and Sportsbetting.com had graded my Bond's props within minutes of Bonds hitting his 756 home run. Bush league if Oly doesn't pay promptly IMHO

Just received an email that it has been graded. Your sarcasm about waiting a few hours for it to be graded after waiting all yr was noted. However, I had been told it would not be graded until after the season was over. Had I not been told anything I would've been patiently waiting. Nearly my entire acct at the Greek was tied to this wager so I was on hold from betting there til this cashed

I certainly didn't mean to be sarcastic towards you or anyone else, sorry if you took it that way.

I was just informed by The Greek.com upper most management that the prop was graded at 6AM this morning when he arrived at work.

My point was most veteran gamblers understand that grading unusual props like this one may not be as automatic as grading the result of a Monday Night Football game and are comfortable waiting until morning.

Thanks, wilheim.

Thanks, wilheim.

And as I had told you this veteran gambler would've been more than comfortable waiting until the morning had I not been specifically told this would be graded at the end of the season like all other future bets and had rules out of their rulebook quoted to me.

I do genuinely appreciate your follow-up with them though. Thank you very much
