Here is a short list of some of the book movements immediately following the announcement. Note the time of the movement off the previous line, not necessarily the overnight. I was watching the screen as the movement hit following the announcement.

Yes i see the movement. But its just trying to creep back to the "opener" as it was ALL SF money from last night until the announcement. If this number goes past the opener i will be surprised as lots of the money was "buy back".
Thanks for the update.

For what it's worth, the Giants starting pitching rotation has been performing very well in the last week and a half except for Morris last night. Lowry threw a gem against Oakland in his last start but lost 1-0. As a fan, I hope it continues. Best of luck to you.

We will be a very dangerous team when Alou comes back OMT.

We just need to get some bullpen help.

I didn't know you were a Giants fan. This may have gone a bit unnoticed but every team in the NL West is above .500 and if the Giants starters continue as they have been, expect them to move up in the standings. Worrell has been placed on the DL so the bullpen will get even younger. Agree, when Alou returns, the Giants only get better.

BTW, congratulations on a great performance by the Clippers in the post season. Tough situation to win Game 7 in Phoenix but if they can keep the core together, particularly Sam Cassell, they will only get better.

Not to hijack this thread...but I can't pass up opportunities to talk Clippers.

I am a season ticket holder to the Giants after purchasing a 2nd home in Fresno (close to my mom). I don't make it to many games, but I have nice seats. Been a Giants fan for years.

As for the Clippers, it was an amazing season I will always remember. It was a blast.

I think Cassell was a key to our success, but also feel it will be good for us to let him walk and hand the reigns over to Livingston. He is ready to be a star. For what Cassell will command, we would be better to let him go and sign a veteran back up point guard for 25% of the money.

Wondering if i should jumpo on Stl yet.

Moves following Bonds announcement now over and in fact line moving back somewhat. Again, for what it's worth, Lowry can flat out pitch when he's right. Not sure this is a gimmy for St.Louis at all, just reporting the facts on Bonds and the subsequent line movement. The line movement toward Under 8.5 has been consistently steady and one could argue with Carpenter and Lowry and no Bonds, that may be a real possibility. But anything can happen. The Giants are hitting of late as well and Carpenter has yielded runs lately while only going 6 innings. Tough call.

I got down on SF -105. I couldn't find the new line right away as Pinnacle had it burried at the bottom of the screen.

Good get. Moving as we speak. Don't know a great deal about Thompson, but Lowry is usually tough in the afternoon. Best of luck Clip.

Thompson hasn't gone over 2 innings this entire season. He is not stretched out which means St. Louis will probably be going to there bullpen early and often today. They got fairly capable arms though with Hancock and Wainwright to pick up Thompson after he is done. Cards got the day off tomorrow so they could throw just about everyone in there bullpen an inning or 2 and have them rest and be fresh for Friday. It's a tough call I'm leaning towards Lowry right now but want to see who everyone else is taking.

Those 23 HRs and 57 RBIs are jaw dropping...

Scary! Pujols could have well over 40 HR's and possilby 100 RBI's by the Allstar break.

HAHA Pujols 23 HR's, the ENTIRE Giants lineup today combined 24 HR's. I can't who to take here Lowry is obviously the better pitcher but the Cardinals have a much better lineup today. Seeing Steve Finley hitting 3rd in a Major League lineup kills me.
