What's wrong with Milk Duds? Still one of my favorite movie candies. Of course not too long ago I did pull out two loose fillings, when I was happily chewing away. My dentist couldn't have been happier.:money8:

How much time?

Six minutes to finish 100 would be a reasonable target. About 24 hours to bring pulse and blood sugar back to normal

Least favorite Halloween items for me were:

1. Religious pamphlets
2. Apples or other non-candy

As far as candy, though I love chocolate and like peanut butter, I don't much care for them in combination, so I have to go against the majority on Reese's and similar candies.

Similarly, though I love chocolate and like at least some nuts, I'm not fond of them in combination, so I'll pass on the various candies with nuts in them.

I can also do without licorice (the black kind that is; I like the red kind fine), butterscotch, and coconut in candy.

Love just about any other kind of candy, including almost all those listed in this thread on both the best and worst lists. Definitely including malted milk balls, one of my favorites.

Sno-caps, caramels, Three Musketeers, Milky Way, Nestle's Crunch, 100 Grand, Necco, Sourpatch, cinnamon bears, basic Hershey's chocolate bar, etc., etc. All terrific. Would eat stuff like that all day if I didn't care about being even fatter than I already am.

How about obscure ones like those candy cigarettes? Anybody old enough to remember those? Those were actually decent.

Religious pamphlets = automatic egging in the neighborhood I grew up in.

growing up had a neighbor that passed out 20 dollar bills.. except it was folded, and not the size of a 20 and had religious literature in it

Worst:

1. There was a guy in my neighborhood who taped up 5 pennies and handed them out.
2. My next door neighbor was a dentist and would hand out toothbrushes.

Is it just me or is there more peanut butter in the reeses holiday cups (easter eggs, christmas trees, halloween pumpkin) than the regular cups? The holiday ones are so much better.

Yep, they have a lot more peanut butter. The regular Reese's Peanut Butter Cups today have a lot more chocolate than they used to, so you don't get that much peanut butter in them (more chocolate is mainly due to the outside ring that is textured or whatever). The holiday ones are and will always be the best candy ever made, in my opinion. Whenever they go on sale (seasonally), I get several packs so I have some on hand throughout the year.

I don't get all too many trick or treater's where I live, but for the ones who do show up I am passing out full size Snickers and Starburst. I would never be able to bring myself to pass out the Reese's Pumpkins that I picked up last week.
