How many people would it take to be in on such a 'funny' hoax to pull it off? Victim, doctors, first responders, volunteers, celebrity hospital guests, girlfriend, her roommate, his parents, etc. all of them have to keep the story straight for such a hoax and for what purpose?

Shit almost reminds me of the DC Sniper shit with Malvo and Muhammad. Two nuts jobs with a fucked up agenda.

Too bad we don't allow "public" cruel and usual punishments because this guy taken into custody should be forced to run the course of the marathon while all the victims and families should line up on the streets and stone this bastard to death.
I think they had a well thought out plan right up to the point the bombs went off. After that I don't think they had a clue that the cameras and the 100 thousand plus pictures the people took at the Marathon would identify them so quick. The auto mechanic that they interviewed said the older one acted very agitated and in a hurry when he came into his shop to get his car the day after the attacks. I think they were planning on blending in and being anonymous after the bombings. They knew that if they left the area and school that people would put it together, because friends and classmates would start to talk, so they figured that if they went about their normal life, nobody would have a clue. If you listen to their friends, they would have never thought these two pieces of shit would do this. If these two brothers had done one simple thing, they might have either gotten away with it, or it would have taken much longer to catch them. It's called a disguise. Something I think these terrorists will use for here on out with the technology we have today.

Being in the wrong place at the wrong time and getting your legs blown off doesn't make you a hero. The other three, yes.

you fukkin dumbass he lived to survive to identify these pieces of filth, show some fukkin respect you dipshit.

I must apologize. Even after stating in an earlier post that the guy who lost his legs helped to identify the bomber, that completely slipped my mind when I made that post. In my defense, I made that post in a semi-zombified state at 1:30am after having been up almost 24 hours. Dude is a hero, no question.

You're out of control you know that?

You're an asshole. Death was right. Getting his legs blown off does not make you a hero. The people risking their lives to save others, now those are heroes. You're calling people names because they don't see things your way. You're a fucking idiot.

On top of that you say all Muslims are dirty terrorists. You sound real educated. While I believe that most terrorists are almost always Muslims you on the other hand believe that Muslims ARE ALL dirty terrorists.

What about when he woke up in the hospital with no legs and identified the bomber?

Ok does that make him a hero? What heroic act did he perform?

We're confusing different emotions here people. We're using the "hero" label the wrong way.

You know who's a hero. The guy who jumped on the train tracks to save that woman. He risked his own life with a train coming at him and risking electrocution so he could save a stranger.

On January 2, 2007, Autrey was waiting for a train at the 137th Street – City College subway station in Manhattan with his two young daughters. At around 12:45 p.m., he and two women noticed a young man, Cameron Hollopeter, having a seizure. Autrey borrowed a pen and used it to keep Hollopeter's jaw open. Following the seizure, Hollopeter stumbled from the platform, falling onto the tracks.
As Hollopeter lay on the tracks, Autrey saw the lights of an oncoming train. As one of the women held Autrey's daughters back away from the edge of the platform, Autrey dove onto the tracks. He thought he would be able to take Hollopeter off the tracks, but he realized there was not enough time to drag Hollopeter away. Instead, he protected Hollopeter by throwing himself over Hollopeter's body in a drainage trench between the tracks, where he held him down. Though the operator of the train applied the brakes, all but two cars still passed over them, close enough to leave grease on his cap.[SUP][3]"

I don't understand your point. Heroes come in all forms.

Jackie Robinson is a hero to many and he didn't save anyone.
