He is truly a joy to watch. Just hard to understand how someone can run that fast. He is racing against literally the fastest people in the world and just leaving them in the dust.
My one complaint: I've watched him race either the 100m or the 200m at least 10 times over the past 4 years or so. I don't think I've ever seen him actually sprint all the way to the finish line. I know it's not necessary as he's already several lengths ahead of second but I just wonder why he doesn't go all out the whole race more often in an attempt to lower his world records. If he actually tried 100% every race, he could get his record lower and lower and possibly set it where it could never be broken. I'm sure injury concerns might be one reason. No reason to risk pulling a hammy I guess if you know you can just coast for the victory. But last night's final would have been a good time to go all out. No other races later in the Olympics so why not? Last night's 200m victory was about as long as I've ever seen him running hard but he still pulled up and coasted with a finger over his mouth the last bit.
I just love watching him run and want him to throw up a crazy number in both the 100m and the 200m that will never be touched.
