Boise St names starting QB

Kellen Moore, the freshman who was a stud last year in breaking records like crazy in Washington.

Kid is going to be a 4-year starter and the Broncos have a young but very talented team. They are going to be a force next year, and should be very good this season.

There's a big difference between winning high school games in Washington and winning them in Div. 1A college football. He is still a green-horned QB playing behind a new offensive line. I wish him luck.

I do agree though, they will be better in the years to come than what they will be this year. I don't look for them to be "very good" this year, just "good." However, in a conference like the WAC, "good" could be a 7+ win season . . . . .

Likely will win 10 games this season or so. Boise St has some new faces but Moore is playing phenomenal so far. Coaches say he already has nearly a full grasp on the offense. The offensive line worries me and a team like Oregon will likely score 50+ on this defense, but as far as WAC games go the only team that can come close to us is Fresno and that's a home game for the Broncos.

Ya know Petersen will make do even w/ a frosh at the helm....it does look like it'll come down to the Fresno St. game.

Saw him a couple times live (including against my HS alma mater) but he did play against 2A competition. He's got a lot of talent, we'll see how he does against big time opponents.
