Dude..How often does this situation occur?..Maybe never has...I guess Bodog has a legit call since wager was incomplete..hmmm..but then again did wager specify he had to have 10 outs..too bad he did not just bunt or some shit...guess he did not want to mess up his swing...look on the bright side..you may have lost if he got all his outs ...Tuff call here..not your everyday occurence

If they had the odds at 0-5 -140 after he hit 27 hrs and was the favorite, i would really assume that it was based on the fact that he could take a few swings or 20, its almost like thats what the bet was on. If it he had to make 10 outs in that round for it to be graded, there is no way you would have to lay money for between 0-5hrs, it would be more like +140 then -140. I think thats a bullshit ruling by them for you.

the reason the line was set like that was because after hitting 28 dingers he's going to be tired....how many did he hit in the final round? exactly....

There's an old gamblers story involving the famous Titanic Thompson....he wagered on everything and was GOOD, very GOOD at it...he was to play a golf match against a guy that was noticeably better than himself. So the guy played him in either a nassau or $ per hole, with money increasin each 6 holes....and the kicker was, he told the guy that he could hit 3 tee shots on every hole and choose the best shot to play the hole from.
Well of course the guy jumped at the bet....the catch was, after the first nine, the guys arms started to tire, and his rhythm was thrown off. As most of us would, the first shot he just put into play, then tried to crush the next two...by the back nine he was off his game....
TOO MANY SWINGS in a SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME.....
Titanic took money off the guy and added to his notoriety...

I have just reaceved the folling comminication from Bodoglife.com:

"Bodog Management realizes that the rules of the event were not clearly posted and that grading all wagers as a “no-action” on the second round of Josh Hamilton in the Home Run Derby was not in the best interests of its customers. The mistake has been fixed by crediting the winners (and leaving the losers No-Actioned). Nothing is needed from affected players and they do not need to call CS."

I had a bet this year that Tiger Woods wouldn't win ANY majors at 5:1 odds. After he won the Open, I figured I'd lost the bet.

But as it turned out, since Woods is injured and announced that he won't play the remaining majors, it was ruled "no action".

How bout them apples!?!?! :aktion033

Well if you are grading winners no action then you would have to grade the the other side the same way right? Or am I misunderstanding the issue at hand?

Correct. When a game is 11-0 in the 2nd inning and gets rained out it's considered no action no matter what side of the bet you had.
