This book is expanding at a rapid pace and presently is in a very healthy state financially.

However, would never play there due to the owner conned a bunch of people on the Canadian stock exchange.

Wow, where are the thread hijackers that took over the RIO thread 5 minutes after I posted it.

truthteller, can you ever say something like Bodog is a great book for everyone to play at without always culminating with something negative. I have heard only good things about bodog, period!

I lay it out how it is. If it's all good I say so, if it's pos/neg I state it.

I am not a shill for any book or anyone just trying to present the players with the most objective info out there as possible.

Everyone's on truthtellers case but guess what? This guy has contributed moreso than not - most recently with the GA debacle.

If you dont like the way he comes across, then too bad.

Agree. If you dont like it, then tell him. If you do, then buy him a beer.

I have ALWAYS said that bodog as a solid out! I really like their proposition bets and the "entertaimment and reality TV bets are SECOND TO NONE!!!"

Truth - we've been bullish on BoDog for a while, Shrink has taken a lot of abuse for it at times even. I think Peep bet they wouldn't be around for baseball but we were always backing these people. Russ lost them as an advertiser and was on their ass, not us. He claimed they owed him money so search the old Bodog threads over there and you will see a lot of this stuff....

I noticed today they are a great shop again so would guess they are talking over a deal now. Just a guess, it may not be right. But for sure they did pay Russ what he wanted, there was a disagreement over money they took care of that eased up the hounds. Anyway the point is we've been saying that about BoDog for a while. No surprise here.

With all due respect to Russ, I think he followed on what I posted here and copied it over at MW. No problem with that at all.

BTW, Docdekay, thanks for the props.

Bodog is a second rate shop for the $10-$50 bettor. Their limits are a joke, lines are elevated to the favorite and ownership is quirte questionable. I hit them for 22K playing 2-3K per game, mainly dogs. They paid me and asked me not to come back. You call this a good book? I can think of 50 books I'd play at before this book. It's just a smaller version of sportsbook or betonsports.com.

Not, Rob. He is just the figurehead. The owner has a real questionable past and is using a fictitious name.

Comments about the owner aside, can anyone tell me what is so attractive about this book???? PLEASE???? They're late with lines, their lines are either vanilla or better-priced elsewhere and their cost on props is a lot worse (usually) than elsewhere, though they're happy to offer props unique to themselves with a -120 line on a 50-50 prop. I just don't get it - what could possibly be the attraction of this book to a serious bettor???

By what measure, Lazy?

It's 10:24am EST, and there are no lines for these sports:

NHL
NBA
NCAA basketball

Every number on their NFL and NCAA football board can be bettered or equalled elsewhere. You want Georgia +3? They have it at +3 -120 ... but you can get it at Olympic at +3-110. Kstate at +14 -110? Naw, Canbet has +14 -107 and Pinnacle at +14-103.

I've watched Bodog for quite a while and it's impossible for me to understand how this book offers any value to the serious bettor. To quote a wise man: "That dog don't hunt 'round here."

they're careful and take their time before posting the lines. it shows that they're cautious and i like that. they're not in a big hurry, so they make less mistakes
