I would like to know how you got my email. I received a spam from this book yesterday. There are rumours going around that you stole a certain sportsbook list?

I guess it's not a rumour anymore.

I SERIOUSLY doubt that they stole anything. Almost all sportsbooks trade customer data. It helps everyone since that same book gets bodog's list as well

It bothers me when I get sportsbook spam. I don't want sportsbooks sharing information. I can't see how that could be a positive for the player. Anything but.

truthteller,

That's quite an accusation to make without proof.

I highly doubt that BODOG would ever resort to this type of thing...

Yes, it is a serious accusation. They not only sent me an email but also I received stuff from them at a physical address that only like 2 sportsbooks have. Those sportsbooks have it cause I did work for them a few months ago.

I contacted 1 book and they said they are like 90% Bodog has their list.

Why are you highly doubtful? That's petty to what the owner did before on the Canadian stock market.

Truthteller:

Playersonly: Books exchanging lists?

I think that's bullshit.

My experience tells me that books compete against each other, even if they may be under the same umbrella or share certain synergies.

Maybe Shrink or 911 can get to the bottom of this story.

i dont like it but books work together and check players i think. to see if we are scalping, middling, bonus whores ect....to me that is unfair as us players are just working our ass off to get the best value. if i win i deserve it, if i lose hey you got my money. but do not deny me the resourses that are available.

if you had/have an account at V-Wager - they are the ones who sold my name and address to every god damned book out there - so why shouldn't VW be to blame for you.

It wasn't V-wager I had my address with or any other company listed above.

All I know is this company I worked with didn't get along with Bodog.

I am like 99.9% sure they stole that list. I will keep you guys updated.

Feiner may have pegged this one......I'm not 100% sure, but I just looked over where FF crap has hit, and I think Neteller may be the common tie.

I have recieved emails and snail mail from books I never opened or posted up with..I figured some may in the same "family" as some of the books I post up with...but I sure hope there is no selling of mailing lists... but I think there is a little of that
