They stopped the Quick Collect. But they do accept WU, just call and they will give you the name and where to send it.

Quick Collect scammed thousands of dollars from books a few months ago so that's why.

This isn't just BoDog specific. Look for industry-wide W.U. changes soon.

I don't use W.U. personally but I know that a lot of books are moving away from their services as they are becoming more and more anti-gaming.

Especially as we move closer to Football you will see many books (not just BoDog) either limit the services of W.U. or change their policies regarding it's use.

That's non sence..Books will continue to use WU at the same rate they do now, nothing about customers sending money to them indicates gambling, its a person to person transfer, which is perfectly legal, and always will be.

No offense Brock, but just because you think there is nothing wrong with it doesn't mean W.U., the US Gov or the Sports Books feel the same way.

I am not going to argue with anyone over it but I can almost promise that you will see a huge change in W.U. at your favorite books in the coming months and into 2004.

2 things really.

1) I just got back from CR a little over a month ago and that was among the topics of discussion/ areas of concern for the books I met with.

2) I speak personally to 3 sports book owners weekly and all 3 have told me that something is going on with W.U. and they will adjust their business and use of W.U. accordingly in the coming months as developments unfold.

Michael Cash is right.

W.U. union got in trouble recently with their online service and when the Feds questioned them they denied that W.U. ever knew monies were ever used for Gaming. Now they're in HOT water and you'll see some changes in how they do business very soon. And books will start to shy away a bit. At the very least you'll see some limitations.
At least NETeller admits it's used for gaming and has put in many measures for tracking and making sure there is no money laundering. The Feds like that, and beside NETeller is Canadian and W.U. is a U.S. company.

Brock landers - You can't send money to NETeller from W.U.
And NETeller won't be doing that in the near future either.

Western Union screwed-up and they are being looked at very closely right now. Just use NETeller now and all the deposit methods and you'll be fine.
