Wil, what reason does Bodog give for why some people get paid in 2 days and others in 4 weeks? It does not seem to be amount dependent. Is it receiver's bank dependent? random luck?

Sean, good question and I will explain it to you and the rest of the forum as it was explained to me. Somtime in March one of BODOG's processor banks decided to cancel their arrangement with BODOG. At the time that particular bank was handling approximately 20% of BODOG's withdrawal by check and bank wire business transactions. This resulted in thousands of withdrawals that had to be re-processed by other banks which not only caused severe delays for those particular withdrawals (months actually) but also added additional strain on the currently functioning processor banks, requiring them to have to share even more of the burden required to keep up with the demand for checks and money orders which because of a mini run generated by rumors and forum reports of slow play created a substantial amount of pressure on those remaing banks to keep up with the demand I mentioned.

Right now the best way to withdraw funds from BODOG is by check delivered via Fed Ex (avoid USPS) which because of the amount of withdrawals involved daily is requiring anywhere from 15 to 20 business days to reach player addresses by Fed Ex.

BODOG is well aware that this is far from a feasable withdrawal process in even the short term and is working extremely hard to uncover new means in which to get funds in the hands of winners. The have a specially created team tasked with the sole purpose of improving the situation ASAP.

Players are being paid daily, the backlog created by the loss of the single processor is nearly completely caught up with a few exceptions (bad adresses, incorrect bank information and other problems still waiting) very few routine withdrawals from the old bank are remaining left still waiting to be paid. Right now withdrawals by Western Union are shut down for the time being also, adding yet more strain on the existing banks to deal with.

BTW. I don't know of anyone getting paid in two days by BODOG right now.

I would assume Europeans with Moneybookers/Neteller are being paid in a couple of days, but not Americans?
