Knight is a legend and a great coach, but he cost his team this crucial game. For all of the hype Knight receives, you would have thought he would have been smart enough to foul and give 2 shots to the Horns with 2.6 left and a 3 point lead. In OT, Barnes employed this tactic with 4.8 sec to go. I'm not bitter, as I won with Texas. Just pointing out the truth.
Totaly agree with you. Especially after Texas used their last time-out. With no time-outs left all they needed to do is foul them have them make 1 or 2 free throws. There would be less then 3 seconds left. Texas then would foul TT which would have given Texas about 1-2 seconds to get off a last second shot. I've seen a lot of coaches not foul late in the game being up by 3. Cost them this time. Cost me as well. I had TT -1....

I had TT -1 (bought a hook) and just knew UT would tie it when they made that 1/2 court pass and called a quick TO- it was a really bad beat with a dime swing for me; that's why its called gambling, i guess

2nd beat: Drake P vs SWMS ==> Last second 9 footer and SWMS wins 51-50
3rd beat: Mich ST +6. We all know what happened there
4th beat: TT tonight
