yeah, he either blows it or almost does..it wasn't as noticeable when the sox were knocking the cover off of the ball for most of the past month, but i cannot think of many pitchers i would be more afraid to have on the mound right now with a one-run lead.

ALL closers blow games......last year I had to defend Todd Jones..(Yes, I defended him) someone said he was the worst closer blah blah blah...fact was..he was actually in the top 15....which ok, is average....but the WORST? I dont know.....like I said...they ALL blow saves....it happens...no sure thing...I think Fernando Rodney for the Tigers is brutal...however, he's 20 for 20 in save opportunities this year....you can use the eyeball test with these guys...or the facts....but most people base it on their wins and losses...if someone bets the Tigers tomorrow and Rodney blows his first save of the year...someone will say...Rodney is the worst closer in baseball....blah blah blah...Im convinced everyone sucks....hows that? :drink:

Like I said....look at the stats.....sometimes its not pretty...but facts are facts...I really dont know what else to say....I dont like or hate him...Im just talking from a numbers standpoint......
