%^_ New to the forum and would like to share some of my picks. Been doing pretty good in NBA and NFL so I decided to start posting to keep track. I rank my plays between 1-4 stars, the numbers meaning the unit I will put down on the game. Well let's get down to business and get started. These lines are not official, as I like to make the play an hour before game time. My picks for today are.........unless something changes

2* Orlando -4.5

The Orlando game will most likely be a close one through the first 3 quarters with Orlando pulling away in the 4th. I'm giving the advantage to the Magics because of their 3 point shooters and of course, Home Court Advantage.
Orlando - 105
Cleveland - 94

3* Phoenix - 1.5

I'm going with Phoenix Suns here because they are due. They are due for a BIG showing where everything clicks. I see that happening tonight with Home Court Advantage and being on National tv. Shaq and Amare should be able to dominate the inside leaving wide open shots for Nash, Barnes, and company. I don't see this game being close.

Spurs - 91

I guess I should have phrased it better. There is a big difference between Memphis and Phoenix. What I meant to say, was that Phoenix usually builds these BIG leads only to let it get away from them. They are due to have a big lead and hold on. This is the perfect spot for them.

Well Phoenix didn't do to well. I probably won't place another bet on them as long as Terry Porter is their coach. At least Orlando made it happen.

Boston has the better team. I'm just riding them because they are hot right now. 6 points isn't enough. Boston wins in double digits. Detroit is just not the same team this year.

I know New Jersey has been owning Atlanta as of late. Atlanta is 17-5 at home, so they are pretty good there. The first game in New Jersey Atlanta was up by as much as 20. I'm sure they'll remember that and win big. Bibby didn't have a very good game the first time around, so look for him to rebound.

BMW M3 I came into this thread for one reason and one reason only. I saw BMW M3! arty:Best car I have ever owned and I still miss it. But I missed a truck too. How about we kick the season in the ass so we can have the upgraded model of both. Of course on the M3 we would have to take the governer off, put the card in the motor and spice up the motor a bit. But the need for speed is fine indeed. BOL on your picks. I hope you come out of the gate quick. I see Im against ya on Atlanta.

The Raptors beat the Magic the last time they played. I look at this as a revenge factor and a steamrolling of the Raptors. Both teams are on a whole different level. Orlando will be raining threes today.

1* Minnesota + 13.5

I've been riding Boston to cover for at least the past 5 games, but don't think it will happen today. Minnesota has been playing well as of late and they should cover. Should be a close game. Boston's winning streak might end today.

2* Cleveland -4

Big Z is back, which should cause trouble for the Pistons. As he's sitting back draining jumpers, it should open up the middle for King James to do his thing. Detroit has the talent, but they play to slow. They would be a good team if they pushed the tempo. In the games I have seen them, they walk the ball up the court and take forever to set up. They actually look good when they push. I don't see that happening today.
