What is the deal with this book? I have been waiting over two months for a payout. Everytime I call they give me a new story.... Should I write this one off or is there anything I can do?

BML has a long history of stiffing players. You should be able to find many horror stories by searching the archives here & at MW.

Nothing but bad, bad news to be found about these guys.

Your deposit has probably already been spent on a car payment for a new Jag.

This place must be stopped.

I'll take No for the limit.....

"BML stiffed me last year, only $210! Unbelievable, countless phone calls and aggrivation just to get $210 and they still would not give it to me so I gave up...bunch of crooks.." (Bayshore Kid)

"Many complaints on BML and Skytower over a long period..." (SBR.COM)

"A friend of mine who I bet bases with also got beat by this book." (Patrick McIrish)

Here's a classic from last fall.......

This is an official warning letter for all clients about potential bankruptcy of www.bmlsports.com (AKA www.bringmeluck.com ). As www.bmlsports.com worked since March, 2002 without any gambling license, there took places numerous cases of client's frauds, big payments' delays and non- paying at all. A group of federal agents now investigating illegal financial activity of owners and managers of www.bmlsports.com. As part of their investigating, they stopped work of www.bmlsports.com' server to get machine's logs, on last weekend, both Saturday and Monday.

Federal agents now have proofs and evidences of illegal selling all clients' private info (Credit Cards info, E-mails and billing addresses info, Banking accounts info) to third part. Also managers of www.bmlsports.com practiced absolutely illegal way to limit all clients' withdrawal or delays without any reasons. We at Internet Gaming Commission receiving numerous claims about www.bmlsports.com and we want to inform you at advance, about urgent withdrawing all your money from www.bmlsports.com . Also, managers and operators of www.bmlspors.com can give you wrong information about their existing problems to avoid global withdrawal.

If you don't get your funds very soon, all www.bmlsports.com banking accounts will be frozen by federal agents, and process of withdrawal will take up to 6-12 months. Our financial experts say that www.bmlsports.com doesn't have sufficient funds to cover all clients' withdrawals. So probably, only little part of clients will get their money before process of bankruptcy will begin.

Please do not respond this letter. If you want to submit a complaint, or claim about illegal or suspicious activity of www.bmlsport.com (AKA www.bringmeluck.com), please use following link: http://www.internetcommission.com/dispute.asp Sincerely, R. Whitson Carter Chairman, Internet Gaming Commission"

yes when i first started gambling they were one of the first sites I stumbled upon because they offered a 50% matchplay bonus. I really feel bad for all the new bettors who fall into this book.

I did hesitate to include that email......I'm yet to see any "commission" in this industry that is worth the paper they put their name on.

Regardless, BML has apparently made a habit out of stiffing and slow playing people.

I appreciate everyone's comments. Having realized that I will probably never see a dime, is there anything I can do to try and get my money back (they owe me $1,000).

Also, one more question. Why is BML not listed on the sites to avoid? Given their clearly inappropriate practices and refusal to pay, I would think they should be a prime candidate for the list. Had they been there, I would be $1,000 better off.

I have them on my blacklist and have had them there for some time now.

http://www.bettorstalk.com/badbooks.shtml

BML also owns OSG Sports

Also they have this clause in their rules:

Bring Me Luck Sports also has the following withdrawal clause "In order to maintain a regular $1000.00 maximum of weekly withdrawal amount, all customers must at least wager 20% of the monthly redemption amount and maintain activity for the last 2 weeks"

I called them again today and they still have no explanation for why they won't pay me. They acknowledge that I am owed the money, but they are just not paying me because they don't want to. It is just downright bizzare. I even offered to settle for less than they owe me.

Shrink, does this guy have a chance at his $$, or is this book a long gone write off?

(He's a newbie in a bad spot...and least give him some "official" word.}

Thanks

p.s. I don't hate all books....just those that screw people.
