Here is our take on what has recently transpired and how we plan on dealing with this issue.
On Dec 4th I received a 3-way call from Shrink with an individual that was supposedly the one up 39,900 (although you would think that a sheet of players would be more than 1 strong). The purpose of the call was to see about settling up the figure. I told Shrink that we had no problem settling with him but I wanted to know for future references what our settle figure was going to be since he originally wanted a 50K settle-up. We didn’t want the figure constantly changing since both parties would need to make the proper arrangements when the time came. Shrink then agreed that since he originally set the settle-up figure for 50k that we would carry the figure until one party reached the number. During this same time Shrink had made attempts to reach Doug in the states but was unable to so he left a voicemail stating that we would carry the figure.
So this brings us to the events of yesterday. We spent most of the morning trying to figure out which one of our agents was supposedly being slow paid. After coming to realize that it was the Shrink we were shocked to say the least. How do you slow pay somebody that tells you to carry the figure? How do you trust an individual that goes behind your back spreading lies and rumors only to benefit himself? Fittingly the acronym for “run on bank” is ROB and that is what we feel like has happened.
After speaking with Doug until the wee hours of the morning we both feel that there is only one direction that we can go in. We are going to sever any and all ties with the Shrink. So effective immediately we would like any and all banners of ours removed from this site. Furthermore we are going to close all accounts that you have put in here and settle them up minus the unused advertising monies that we have coming back. You started this in the forums so we are going to end it here.
Now as far as any contests that have recently finished, or are still ongoing that we sponsor, we plan on honoring those prizes. Our dispute is not with the posters of this site just its owner.
