id say the carolina panthers take a shot at him!!! it will only cost them 300 k for rest of season with no guaranteed money for next season, they have still a shot to win in there pathetic division, and blount might relish as the featured back there with deangelo williams and jonathan stewart being hurt all year, and when healthy have done nothing, the panthers desperately need a ground game to take pressure off cam newton, either sign blount or tate that just got waived by the browns as well????

Well, I'm in Charlotte, and with Williams and Stewart hobbled, wouldn't surprise me if Riverboat Ron didn't talk Richardson into making a play on him. Blount is talented, just doesn't have the right "tude."

No, I agree with your first post, I'm gonna watch the news tonight, I'm not dialed into the Panthers as much as the colleges around here since I left OK in June to come to Charlotte. But that being said, I watch and read everything about them, got relatives that are season ticket holders, could make a phone call I guess, but really doesn't matter, I could see it happening, they have NO running game, other than, lol, Cam.

I would say Indy would have an interest in Blount due to Bradshaw's injury and Trent Richardson doing the usual. Of note is that Ben Tate was released by the Browns today as well....

Good Luck on breaking this record next Monday!---

A New England Patriots record that has stood for two decades could fall next Monday night.

Running back LeGarrette Blount enters the Patriots’ matchup with the Baltimore Ravens needing just one touchdown rush to tie Curtis Martin’s single-season franchise record of 14, which the Hall of Famer set in 1995 and equaled in 1996.

I know Blount deserved to be cut, but the Steelers really got screwed in 2014 playoffs when Bell went down (I think they signed a guy off the street). Now the Steelers have Williams, arguably the best backup RB in the game, but this was a huge break for the Pats.

Blount was a free agent for a time this year. Very little interest, signed with the Pat's for very little. Why were no teams interested in him? Maybe he only thrives under BB/Brady/McDaniels -- he has been a head case in the past. BUt he has been terrific, especially when Brady was out.
