Blizzard sends pieces of Wrigley Field roof flying

Streets have been closed near Wrigley Field after pieces of the roof began blowing off onto the street below during the blizzard Tuesday evening.
Streets were closed to traffic about 5:30 p.m. due to blowing debris from Wrigley Field, police said.
“We’ve been told pieces of the roof were blowing off,” police News Affairs Officer Daniel O’Brien said.
Streets were closed from Addison Street between Sheffield Avenue and Racine Street and also on Clark Street between Addison Street and Waveland Avenue, police said.
