Public looooooves Kobe! Making them basically the opposite of me

Anyway, ya I'd hafta take Portland here if anything I think. I think the line isnt fishy so much as adjusting to public perception. I still think 45-50% or more on Lakers even if they were laying a couple...

I have made a fortune on this game twice a year. Betting on Portland every single time. I got a weird feeling about it this time though. But I still am leaning towards Portland.

Thank you, come again!

Lakers always underestimate Portland, but it's different this go around. Bet against the Lakers, with caution, because the Lakers can win anywhere on the road. Don't forget, this is the only team that beat Cleveland at home.

lakers have bynum back despite being a b2b game
bynum easily ran 20+ minutes last nite so the real team to be worrying is anyone playing the lakers.

ariza needs to watch out b/c he might get mugged

shannon brown is playing well for the lakers, which is nice to know this late in the season

lakers don't win at portland. it's like them winning in the palace or something. it doesn't happen. but to get home court advantage, there is much incentive for them to win tonight.

Not a big NBA guy, but I think the fact that the Blazers are trying to improve their playoff seed and that the Lakers are more concerned with getting Bynum in sync with the team and the everyone ready/rested for the playoffs is also in the Blazers favor.

cavs only lost once at home court this season.

homecourt advantage is imperative for the lakers.

Thinking the same thing...Lakers are focused on this after the loss to Boston last year in the finals. Portland has owned them in the past, but I have a feeling the Lakers get it done.

Bynum back...sure, working to get him in-sync, but he had 16 pts in his first game back. That's solid contribution, expect at least 10 pts tonight.

Phil not there...I see this as a motivation factor. Kobe and company want to prove to the coach that he can win. Wouldn't be shocked if Phil isn't there on purpose, almost as a challenge to his team to win a tough game without him there.

i guess the blazers might be a good thing as the lakers' 3 stooges could be a disaster (luke/sascha/farmar)

since they beat them down every single time in Portland
do i need to say it different?

only going back 3 years ..... let me know when Portland was favored :think2:

<TABLE class=data cellSpacing=1 cellPadding=2><TBODY><TR><TD class=datahl2>03/09/09</TD><TD class=datacell>POR 111 - LAL 94</TD><TD class=datacell>POR+2.5</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
<TABLE class=data cellSpacing=1 cellPadding=2><TBODY><TR><TD class=datahl2>04/08/08</TD><TD class=datacell>POR 112 - LAL 103</TD><TD class=datacell>POR+8.5</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
<TABLE class=data cellSpacing=1 cellPadding=2><TBODY><TR><TD class=datahl2>02/29/08</TD><TD class=datacell>POR 119 - LAL 111</TD><TD class=datacell>POR+6</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
<TABLE class=data cellSpacing=1 cellPadding=2><TBODY><TR><TD class=datahl2>11/08/06</TD><TD class=datacell>POR 101 - LAL 90</TD><TD class=datacell>POR+4.5</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

which is my point..... Im not saying there is not something fishy about this game or that it wont be close. But to be suprised that the Blazers arent favored more today doesnt make sense to me as a "too easy" game ATS.

I think Bynum insertion into the lineup will F with the Lakers offense especially on the road. He will be forcing bad shots around the hoop and I see the Blazers shooting alot of 15 footers tonight.

Phill Jackson wont be with the team apparently, but what I noticed last night was the amount of minutes the bench was getting; I dont expect the Lakers to be as tired on this back to back.

I think the under is the best play.
