Easiest pick I've ever seen, simple tip drill really.

Guess that's why he plays safety instead of WR.

This kid better transfer, gotta feel for him.

you can't put this solely on this him. texas defense and offense was non-existent for the 1st half. you really can't put this on him, it's wholly unfair.

ball was in his hands and he dropped it. if he would have caught the ball, they would still be number one...

if they didn't have a safety, pick 6, or completely lost in the 1st half... they would still be #1. It's very easy to point to one obvious instance.

Don't forget Tech dropped a TD on the their 2nd series of the game.

You can never blame a loss on one player, but because of the time and situation, it will be remembered.

If they make the tackle game is over.

Blaming one player is ridiculous. If had committed a selfish personal foul, sure. Shit happens in a football game, and he didn't make the play. But the loss is on the team Quite frankly, I can't believe Texas took the lead.....

So you prefer the 13-6 games in the horseshoe for saturday nights. I'll take shit defenses for great offenses over pitiful offenses and decent defenses any day of the week.

i think you know where i stand on that subject. the problem is when those great offenses meet a decent defense that they haven't encountered before in conference play, u get a drubbing

ask OU. You are on point. I believe since 1998, all but 1 or 2 NC have had a top 10 run defense.

You have to be able to stop the run.

You certainly can blame this loss on him, so please don't say otherwise. Had they played better earlier would they have been in that situation? No, of coarse not. Had they done things differently all game they might have been up by 10 at that point and not had to worry, but the fact is they would have won the game if he would have caught that simple tipped pass that I'm sure 98% of the people here could have caught. Not being a WR is no excuse, a kicker would have been able to catch that.

It's unfortunate for the player and I feel for him, but yes he absolutely cost Texas a chance at the title.

Texas is far from being out of the title hunt.

They need A LOT of things to happen for them to get in. 1) They need Tech to lose at least one game. 2) If it's a three way tie, they need to be the highest rated team in the South. 3) They have to hope Penn St loses a game because if they don't and UF wins out it probably won't matter who wins the Big 12 because it will be PSU vs UF for the title.

Not completely out of the picture, but it is going to be extremely difficult.

I think it's very possible all of the above can happen.

I don't think Texas can help themselves at all. They have three weak teams left to play so they won't get much respect from the pollsters even if they win. Meanwhile OU/Texas Tech/OSU are all ranked and will be playing each other. Those teams will have to help Texas by beating each other if they are going to have any chance of making the NCG.

Hopefully we can somehow get the 2 best teams in the title game.
