(Springfield, IL) -- The Illinois State Senate has voted to convict Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich under the articles of impeachment.
Illinois Lieutenant Governor Pat Quinn is expected to take the oath of office soon to replace him.
Blagojevich was accused of abuse of power, including allegedly attempting to sell the Senate seat vacated by President Obama.
