Blackout Restrictions Question

Anyone know why a colllege basketball game on Fox Sports South is blacked out here in Dallas.

The game I am referring to is NC State vs Davidson. I can't understand what territorial restriction applies.

Anyone know?

No, not on local. It is not a local game for me. FSS is always blacked on DirecTV.

You need the college hoops package to get it then.

if you have directv, you can only watch games on the fox sports channel that is in your region - all other regional fox sports games will be blacked out so that you have to buy the appropriate package. Same with all sports - NHL, MLB, NBA, etc.

I have all the packages League Pass, Sunday ticket, extra innings, Fullcourt, Gameplan.

Game on FSS is the only channel which games are blacked out. I found it has to do with territory restrictions with the conference and what they show.
