bad advice to play according to streaks.

betting according to streaks does not improve your chances of winning any unplayed hand.

in fact in blackjack, incresing your bet while on a winning streak will usually be the WORST time to do so because if you have been winning hand recently you probably have been getting dealt high cards like blackjack or pat 20 and taking out high cards and leaving more junk yet to be played in the shoe.

now youre going to increase your bet because you have been winning? with fewer big cards remaining? not a wise course of action......

progressions do not work. bet your money according to what you feel like betting and remember if your not playing a winning game the object is to have fun and maximize your chances of walking away a winner.

I understand flat betting may be boring to many people. there is nothing wrong with varying your bet. its great to hit a doubledown winner with a big bet out there.

just trying to point out that progressions are not a winning system and shouldnt be confused with one.

If you read my post completely I was not advocating betting streaks (progressions).

In the long run it does not matter how you bet because you will lose about 1/2 percent of everything you put into the circle.

If you are playing with bonuses then it is more profitable to play using bigger hands. The reason behind that is you will often bust out before you finish the requirements and therefore will wager less for the same amount in bonuses.

Most of what I say is dealing with online play and auto shuffling machines which reshuffle after each hand. you will not find good penetration games in Tunica, so counting is irrelevant

It's not really an issue of "believing" in streaks. There is no such thing. It's common statistical sense, and anyone who believes otherwise is deluding themselves. Sort of like saying "Some people believe the sky is orange, some people don't. It's just personal belief."

Flat betting is probably the best strategy. I can't tell you how many times the whole table goes broke but I am up $400 because I bet $10 each hand. But then I get sick of the slow pace and take bigger chances and end up losing it all.
