LMAO thats the best line I have heard in a long time. This is why Jackson is one of my favs. This guy can sell a fight.

I think Rashard was trying too hard to be a tough guy. LOL Rampage will knock his ass out. If Rashard stands with him its over. I think Rashard goes back to what got him here and tries to take him down.

Rashad got better wrestling in MMA , not impressed with Rampage and he wasn't impressive against Wanderlei either other than OF COURSE the KO punch which sent Wanderlei out cold to the ground . That being said I have won 1600 dollars on those two fights betting on Quinton but I dont think he can beat Sugar Rashad . Rashad looks quicker , better cardio and has crisp stand up , will cover up well not to get KOed .

Nailed it. Speed and kicks for Rashad plus mad power. Hopefully the squares dump bucks on Rampage to give us better value.

Rampage can sell a fight for sure, but he wouldn't beat rashad 2 out of 10 times. Rashad is better in EVERY aspect of mma and will pick rampage apart.

I do like to watch rampage though...

will looking forward to the fight but imo lyoto machida should be getting 1st crack at evans. either way winner of evans/rampage will be fighting machida next and you should be getting +money for who will be the new LHW champ.

I agree on Sugar coming out on top. The one quality nobodys mentioned is his chin. I've seen him get tagged and keep coming. I figure Rashad backers will be get him at plus money too.

Lyoto SHOULD be getting next crack at Rashad but Rampage is more exciting, hypes fights & Dana loves him so he gets fast tracked back to a title shot. Rampage is more marketable & the UFC wants/needs him as the champ to get MMA more mainstream

It is funny how people on here give no respect to Rampage. Lets see what he has done since entering the UFC.

Eastman
KOd Liddell when Liddell was unstoppable.
Beat Dan Henderson
Lost a close close fight with Forrest.
KOd W. Silva
Beat Jardine

That is impressive. What were people saying last year? Rashad was an average fighter to many people. Don't get me wrong Rashad has been impressive, with his standup. I thought last night showed a lot. Instead of just KOing the guy, he showed that he could withstand being down in the fight, and grind out a win.

The only question is will Quinton be gased by fighting in May? That would be 3 fights in 5 months. Either way it should be a great fight, but to say Quinton doesn't even win 2 out of 10 times is funny as hell. Rampage has one of the most impressive resumes of any fighter in the UFC. Rashad is Ali here....

Why does everyone say this?

I blame it on the UFC for giving Machida lower level fights. His best win by far is T. Silva.

Jackson on the other hand has fought the whos who, while losing "his belt" by the narrowest of margins.

Rampage deserves the shot, Machida does as well, he just hasn't had to fight the best, but that isn't his fault.

But that is my point is that they both deserve the shot but I (along with many others) believe Machida should get the shot first. Machida hasn't lost & while you chronicled his UFC fights above, the fact is that Rampage has lost recently so Machida should have 1st crack followed by Rampage next

The difference is Rashad is looking better and better with every fight, while Rampage seems to remain the same. Don't get me wrong, Jackson is a phenomenol fighter, but I think Rashad is a little more well rounded, and better overall fighter.

That being said, I think this fight is extremely even, and could see it going either way.
