Aging in bourbon barrels is going to be the next big thing for microbrew beer...kentucky ale puts out a great bourbon barrel aged beer. Always grab a couple when I'm in Lexington for the races

This is funny. I know some peeps doing it.
And barrel aging is already the thing in craft beer for the last couple of years.
Unless you are around when this stuff releases, you don't get it because it doesn't just sit on the shelf.

The highlight this year is Regal and Rare.
$65/bottle and 1/pp

I'm not a huge fan of bcbs.

Be happy to see this "craft" beer craze to come to an end. Soooo many shitty brewers and beers out there.

I'll end up with 6+ and 1 rare without leaving the house.
There were several places with no limits in Dallas today.
Still sitting at a few places.

Drinking now about room temp.
4.5/5
Smell is stupid and taste is legit. Best version in the last couple of years.
I ended up with a Rare as well...but i'll have to hold on to that until my 10th anniversary, next year at the earliest.
DFW didn't get any coffee or bw or regal because of stupid laws and hoops you have to jump through...next week more than likely.

The Goose Island BC has been around 7-8 years I believe now. You don't have to drink them now, they age in the bottle for 5 years.

I bought 4@ $9.29 and 2 barleywine @11.29.

2014 barleywine is the best in it's category...this year's supply was supposedly pretty limited.

Yes...I think the first BC was around 2009...and apparently they caps were screw offs...lol. I saw pics of a vertical some guys did.

$35? For what?
Stout is $10
Coffee and Barleywine are $13
Regal is $24
Rare is $65

Probably all are worth it...except Rare. Can never tell my wife I paid $3.80/oz for a beer

just a heads up...GI finally admitted to the infection in coffee and barleywine. call them up for a refund...they ask a few questions, but don't require proof of purchase.
refunding retail price...they are taking a hit on this. just tell them what you paid. no joke. i'm expecting a check for $78 in 4-6 weeks.
I think I was probably in the top 10 people...out of the potential 50,000+ to call
1800 goose me

that's the real number

regular is so money...you need to look at mixing them, esp since you have some many.
2:1 with death by coconut is supposed to be killer
or french press cinnamon toast crunch with half the beer for 30 mins...and then add the other half when drinking for some carb..
