I didn't get a chance to see your post before the game. The Layoff angle is usually arm/shoulder related. Cueto had a mile groin strain and skipped one start. That isn't enough to trigger a play. We want an extended layoff with some sort of arm/shoulder/elbow problem.

Dores pulled one helluva rabbit out of their asses last Saturday, won't happen tomorrow my good friend. They are Gator bait in the waiting. Keep winning and drink a cold one on me.

Limped to the finish, losing around 6U final week. But a tremendous last month winning 17 Units.

From Monday June 6 thru the end of the season - the last 4 months of the season - I won 59 units. Mainly with 1 unit plays.

As for the person saying we shouldn't post records, that's just
ridiculous. When you post 5X and 10X plays, it needs to be reflected in the record. Otherwise, any fool can post daily and just play 10X or 50X or whatever X unit plays. How do you know if you should follow that person? Some people just want to keep a record for themselves.

Another reason to keep detailed records is to know what you are good at, and what you are not good at. Are you better picking favorites? Dogs? Totals? One interesting thing to notice about my records is that I was below 50% on ML plays, but picked up 22+ units. Baseball is a tough game if you just focus on favorites. That extra juice when you lose hurts.

A very solid year, and over the last 4 months as solid as anyone. Even the great PW.

On to the playoffs.

Agreed. I remember at one point early in the season you were down 35 units or so. Very impressive turnaround playing 1 unit per game. Very very good season for you. If not for the totals bets early doors you would have been up so much more. Nice job biz :)

Thank you John.

This is a big reason I like keeping detailed records. The totals fiasco will be corrected next year.

I also took several brutal beats early, and as is usually the case things turned around and the breaks started to even out. Thanks for the kind words.

Truth be told, and why I recall your early season blip, was because after seeing your good nba season, I figured it was worth tailing you in MLB too. When you were down, I jumped on at the low point until you broke even, so scooped up 30 odd units. Was a good choice. Should have stayed on board for longer haha, but didn't want to get too greedy.

You are welcome :)

John,

I have several buddies that follow my NBA. They killed it the last couple months. Followed my baseball, got discouraged and stopped. I told them, keep with it. My numbers by year end will show a profit. They bailed, and at that point it turned completely around. Go figure.

Football a struggle right now, but that will turn also. GL with your action.

I'm bumping my 2016 Baseball thread for those that have been asking me about it. It was a crazy year, starting off awful. The last 4 months were incredible as was September.

For those interested, this is pretty much how the year will go. Ups and downs, some days lots of plays some not many. Baseball is different than any other sport....and I will most likely have a winning year.

I absolutely love it.

Good luck to everyone out there this year.
