I got banned at Coinbase for gambling. So I created a lot of different wallets at blockchain.com. (blockchain.info then). I kept moving money around between wallets hoping not to get banned at another exchange. Some of the wallets, I stopped using. I lost passwords and couldn't read the writing of one of the passphrases years later.

Back then with blockchain.info, an email was optional. It could be used as 2FA if wanted. Some wallets, I put an email address, others just a password with no email address.
