I never had a problem with the MVC. But Cincinati and Florida St should have been IN and those two asinine at large picks Air Force and Utah St should have been OUT. Ya know why Air Force and Utah St were both not competitive? Cause they didnt belong in the damn tournament, thats why. Could you find one single Illinois or Washington fan who would have NOT PREFFERED to play Utah St or Air Force over Cincinnati or FSU?
Putting those two in and Tennessee #2 seed are indefensible! Fire that fuckin committee!

Sean McDonough, the Raf, Bilas hands down the best -- they are funnier than 99% of the sitcoms on tv and they mention things that the others don't.

i did have a problem with the MVC to be honest...didn't think the conference was good enough to get 4 ,5 or 6 like they were talking about....lets look at whos still left from the MVC.....WICHITA ST.(season champs)...and BRADLEY(cinference tourney runners up)and one of the hottest teams in the nation!....AND THE TEAMS THAT ARENT AROUND....S. ILLINOIS.-(conf. tourney champs)..probably needed to win that to get in...just a decent team during season...good toury. style of play...N IOWA-biggest fade down the stretch...was living on glory of there dec. and jan. wins over lsu and iowa....then miss. st and creigton who were just not deserving imo ......i .have followed the MVC for a long time...give BRADLEY all the credit..there NOT lucky..they a GOOD TEAM!...Whichita is a a solid team that i think was over looked due to all the other teams in MVC....so i think we need to rate these MVC teams on a team by team basis.....

Mr. Smith - I tend to agree w/ ya. But there a few problems - and they're things that teams like FSU can solve for themselves. Major conference teams REFUSE to schedule mid major teams on the road. If you notice, when a mid major battles a major conference team...most of the time its at the major conference's team building.
Def. Air Force should've not been in...but I would still give Utah State in over Florida State.
My reasoning is this: FSU played a very bad out of conference schedule. Thats their choice...I would be willing to bet if they asked Utah State to add them to their schedule. The Aggies would be more than accomendating. Instead of complaining about not getting 'in' these major conference teams can add some road games against mid majors...but they dont want to take the risk. Wouldnt you like to see FSU @ Utah State...rather than Stetson @ FSU? Trust me...its not because a team like USU doesnt want to play FSU - of course they do.
w/ that being said...Utah State was 3-1 against Tourney teams heading into the tourney & FSU was 1-4.
I just dont feel bad for teams like FSU - they have more than control of their own destination - they could schedule better mid majors than Stetson, increase their RPI, and leave the complaining at the door.
