ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) - The Buffalo Bills have fired Offensive Coordinator Turk Schonert. Quarterbacks coach Alex VanPelt will handle the offense and will be responsible for calling the plays.
The move happened at about 11 a.m Friday.
Schonert was going into his second year as offensive coordinator. The Bills first team offense failed to score a touchdown in five pre-season games.
The Bills are the third NFL team to fire their offensive coordinator in the last week.

Real issues?

The real issues are in scouting/signing players.

Owens, Bledsoe, Milloy, Losman .... I mean, they're competing with the Bungles and the Lions when it comes to scouting/signing players.

maybe they will be able to score 3 field goals per game now!! oh wait , alex van pelt that 10 time pro bowler is our new cordinator with no experience except coaching as a QB coach for 1 year. Great move Buffalo!! should have done this last year when u could only score 3 points against the 49ers and dolphins in back to back weeks!!!!!!van pelt our savior>>wow!

Under 8 wins will be the easiest money I have ever won. Last I checked it was down to 7.5. This team will be lucky to win 5 games this season. They might have the worse offensive and defensive line in football. This team is soft and plays with zero emotion under Jauron. The front office is a joke and the owner doesn't even know what day it is.
