Pittsburgh Pirates (Maholm) +122 over Colorado Rockies

I see value with Maholm tonight.
Maholm has pretty decent overall numbers this season, 6-5, 3.93 and a ratio of 1.29.

His opponent, Jimenez, is 4-9, 4.22 and a God awful ratio of 1.54 ratio, just too many baserunners allowed for me, and the Pirate lineup isn't that bad.
The Rockies are 5-13 in Jimenez's last 18 starts.

Jimenez is pitching better, however I loved what I saw from Maholm in his last start against the Yankees, as he totally handcuffed that lineup, and I didn't like what I saw in the Rockies last series.

Look for a Pirate road win here.

Pirates for 2* please.

Thanks for taking the time to read this, and as per usual, may all your tickets get cashed.

Man, I'm just not sure about the Pirates, everytime I think I get a decent handle on them, they pull a 180. I do agree with you on Maholm has his last 4 road starts have been very impressive....

I just don't know about Colorado, they could come out smoking in the 2nd half or continue to spiral downwards. Unders could be the play here if Maholm pitches well again.

I was surprised to see everybody jump out on Colorado.

Leaning towards Pittsburgh as well.

Best of luck, bud.
