I hope succeeds, for the sake of the journalists and their families. I think it might be a good move because now the midget tyrant can release the journalists and save face. He can claim he was right all along, but released them as a sign of goodwill towards the former President.

then again, you never know what an irrational person will do

PS: I think just threatening to send the former cowboy in chief over there might be more effective.

yeah, i hope he succeeds too. it was only a week ago that n. korea said the wife, our very own secretary of state, of the former president was much like a school girl and an old hag going shopping.

surprised the hell out of me that he went there though. hopefully he comes out of there with more than just his dick in his hand.

In the big scheme of things, are former politicians like Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter the best America can come up with when sending them overseas to "negiotiate" on our behalf? Seems like somewhere we could come up with some new blood who would come to the forefront and maybe shed some positive light on world situations. When Obama is in his seventies, will he be called upon to go to a foreign country and be a negitiator?

well, if he comes back empty handed and n. korea pokes fun of him like they did hillary, it'll renew the debate of whether we should engage with rogue nations without precondition.

according to n. korea's govt run news, clinton profusley apologized and obama expressed profound gratitude. not that that's a reliable source. now what about those guys who went hiking in the monutains of iraq and got held up in iran?

what the hell're these people thinking?

In my opinion only Clinton could get this done. Bush / Obama....nah. Good to see these girls get the rest of their lives back.

Is it me or does that photo look like the worst photoshop job ever?

You mean that card board cut out next to Clinton?

We'll find out Kim was dead for a year already...but slick Willie went along with it for the fantastic egg rolls and the unlimited Asian poontang he is getting...and he probably threw in another light water reactor to get er done.

thank you Bubba, but I think it was a softball

admittedly, W would not have been a good option for this type of mission. Too much ass kissing was required

Let me get this straight. Bill Clinton, who handed over billions of dollars in aid so North Korea could develop nuclear weapons, is now being credited with saving two american journalists?

Shocking!
