Aight boys after a winning week 1, albeit small, I am looking to get things rolling here in the second week of action. Withoutb Further ado, here are my Week 2 plays:

3* Central Michigan Chippewas +14'
3* Ohio St Buckeyes +7
3* South Carolina/Georgia under 39
2* Oregon Ducks -12

Thoughts and comments are welcome and appreciated. Tear 'em up this weekend

going against the grain, which could be good value. freshman qb on the road at Ohio St, don't like it. Ohio St was looking ahead I think. However, USC can pound the rock

Excited about the tide? Thought they looked pretty good for the first game w/ new qb and line. D is going to be as good as since....92? pro prospects everywhere

I think you've got some solid plays with Central Michigan and the UNDER in the South Carolina-Georgia game.

Central Michigan +14.5 is a "live dog" IMO. With QB Dan LeFevour at the controls, I see him flinging the pigkin all day to WRs Antonio Brown and Bryan Anderson. Michigan State has Oklahoma transfer Keith Nichol under center, and all reports say he can toss the rock also. This has the makings of a "shoot out" - whoever scores last wins. Getting 14.5 points looks very juicy. :drink:

As for the UNDER in the SC-GA game, well, we all saw what each team produced offensively last weekend. This could very well end up to be a 14-10 or 17-13 final.

Ducks "should" bounceback BIG against Purdue, but I need to check this one out further. You're in good company with many of the other veteran Rx posters who have the same sire.

The only one I must differ with is your selection of Ohio State +7 play. USC is like a terminator in that they just reload and keep going at you. Sure, Matt Barkley is a true freshman going into Columbus. But he's not your typical freshman by any stretch of the imagination. The offensive line of SC is insane, and the defense is...well...filthy good. It should be an interesting game!

Best of luck with your plays! :toast:

DIG, I am super pumped about the Tide this year, I am only 24, so my earliest true memories of Alabama were of the 1992 NC team. This years defense is by far the best that we (yes I said "we" - I am an alumnus of Alabama, so i reserve the right to say "we") have had since that team. Rolondo McClain and Donta Hightower are amongst the top 10-15 LBs in the country and Terrence Cody, Marcel Dareus, and Josh Chapman are absolute beasts up front. Mark Barron is coming into his own as a safety and Javy Arenas had absolutely suprised the hell out of me at CB. I truly think we can win every game this year and possibly have a rematch with the Gayturds again in the SECCG. Best of luck to you this football season.

Incubus, thanks for your input, I just feel that Ohio St will be able to slow down the run and pressure Barkley. I think Tressel will scheme defensively to make Barkley beat them. If he does, then I will probably lose my bet, If he does what 99% of untested true freshman QBs would normally do in this situation, then I win this bet. I think that a TD at home against an untested true freshman QB is a nice set up. Maybe I am wrong, maybe i'm right. If this is the only play I lose this week, I will not be unhappy. Good luck to you this weekend and throughout the rest of the season. May everyone win a little extra money.

Well another "kiss your sister" weekend. I still cannot complain with a small profit.
