Bigguy.com dead?

Does anyone here use bigguy.com to track picks? If so, any clue as to whether the site is dead for good or undergoing upgrades? It's been down for about four days now.

They were bot out last year, I believe. They screwed up/lost my picks, I emailed them, they said the site was down for tweaking and they were sorry. I haven't been back since. From what you're saying I would guess the new guys have screwed it up.

Was that email you sent after Jan 1? I tried emailing bigguy@bigguy.com recently, but it got bounced. If nothing else I should have taken a screenshot of my results page before year end. Oh, well. Hope they come back at some point.

Well, for one thing, I have my records there since 1998. Would be nice to be able access them. Plus, there a couple decent handicappers there.

Your records will be incomplete. They lost some of mine while they were tweaking their software. I suspect they tweaked it to death.

In mid to late December they had a banner posted that the site would down for maintenance. It didn't have any solid info about the "updates" but I got the impression it would be back. But its been 3 weeks and still nothing.... would be a shame.

I miss that site, but if you want to track your picks, RJ Bell's site, pre-game, you can register and make your picks and there is a tracker on the site.

You can build a site a helluva lot cheaper!! Finding sponsors and keeping it current would take more than one person helping however, I would reckon. :think2:
