Take a close look at Brock Lesnar. This guy is indeed a physical specimen. He's 280, He's younger and stronger than Randy Couture. In college He accomplished something Randy was never able to as Lesnar was a NCAA Heavyweight Champion. So I guess there is every reason to assume that Lesnar will simply quickly over power and dominate his older smaller opponent.
Well as Corso would say " Not so fast my friends ". Let's take a closer look at Randy Couture. Randy also had a great background in High
School and College wrestling. He won a State Championship in High
School and although He never quite reached the top, He finished 2 nd. twice. He was a 3 time Olympic Alternate so I would probably say that Randy is every bit as good of a wrestler as Lesnar. He also spent time at Oregon State as an assistant coach so I would probably have to give Randy a slight advantage in wrestling as He spent far more time engaging in real wrestling. I give Lesnar very little credit for WWF and WWE so called wrestling. Also Randy is far more experienced and accomplished at MMA, boxing and Jui-Jitsu. So how do you pick a winner ?
Well either one of two things will happen. Brock Lesnar's size will simply be too much for the smaller older Randy Couture. However We must remember the Frank Mir fight in which He was in control and suddenly was in a submission hold and lost. Of course Randy doesn't possess the submission skills of Frank Mir but Randy certainly has far more skills and experience than Brock. I feel that if Randy can stick around for 3 or 4 rounds, the fight will go his way. Tough fight to predict but I'd rather have my $$ on the underdog Couture than Lesnar. It should be quite a spectacle ! :103631605

Nice post Kermit. I'm leaning toward Couture but agree that this will be a war.

That may be true but that fight will not have the intrique of the Lesnar/Couture and of course nobody including either of us knows for sure which fight will be better ! Both of these fights are just hours away and one must " Be there or Be square " as the old saying goes ! GL on your wagers !

Does Anyone think that they are Going to have Brock Lesnar Win this
Because they Need Another "Slice" to bring back some life in the MMA ??

I mean, he's Young, also very well known ( from WWE )
A lot of talk lately about the MMA nose diving.

I just have a funny feeling about this match.

Guess we will see. :drink:
