disapointment= Chicago Bulls (Miami Heat maybe but too hard to judge after the injuries/trades and they gave up on the season)

I honestly dont ever ever watch it either. But I do bet the hell out it and find this years playoffs the most highly anticapated in years. Lots of good teams with a legit shot. I will be scoreboard watching.

Honestly, I think you are full of shit as you do watch it.

But if you want to pretend you dont' because newbies will suck your e-dick, congrats.

Seattle.

They could have been developing something good. Instead they just gave away all of their talent and forced Durant out onto the court in an attempt to gain more #1 picks for the new team in Oklahoma.

The biggest surprise during the regular season is how my Sixers played in the second half of the season...

I like the NBA, I watch it a lot. Believe it or not the cable company down here has a channel called NBATV (Ch. 303). They mix up recent games, talk shows, old playoff games and series, features on the all time great players occasionally, show rivalries from the past and a lot more.

They show game sevens from NBA finals from years past that for me are enjoyable as well as old All Star games and other famous games like Jordan's all time record for the playoffs 63 points against the Celts in a losing cause during the 86 playoffs.

If it makes me a geek or some sort of moron for enjoying the channel then I guess that is what I am.

They also have a golf channel (304) which I watch sometimes. My favorite shows are re-runs of the old Shell Wonderful World Of Golf show. I watched a young Arnold Palmer play against an equally young and very powerful golfer back in the day by the name of Mike Souchak the other day. It was just an exibition and actually in black and white but it was enjoyable to me.

Biggest surprise - Hornets, Lakers, Wizards. Remember Kobe was shopping himself around at the beginning of the season. Wizards had a very good year considering the injuries.

Biggest disappointment - Bulls. Won one more game than the Bobcats. Time to blow up that team.

player wise-rudy gay. he's emerged as the top guy in his draft and looks to be a future all star.

dissapointed in ben wallace. thought he might turn things around, looks like he's done.

ICEMAN, as someone (me) who is pretty darn active with NBA wagering, I also don't watch much live. Maybe a total of one hour a week of various games. Usually I have the sound muted if it's on so I can just have the scoreboard up.

My capping for NBA is very actuarial and I don't need to watch much live. I believe watching it live can cause me to unduly over or underrate certain players and teams.

=============

Biggest Disappointment for me as an observer was a vicarious sympathy with DEN and GST fan base as I watched both George Karl and Don Nelson go through yet another full season pretending you can allow 107+ pts per game and be a serious contender for NBA Final Four.

And if the Road Warrior says it, it must be true..

Has to be the Houston Rockets...

Start the Season 15-17...they go 40-10 the rest of the season...and with Yao out for part of that run

Yeah gotta give them props on a great regular season. NO, and Philly also should be mentioned in similar light. All got a lot out of little.

MAX, Louey Scola looks to be a hell of a baller and I'm not yet ready to tear up my small RocketsWinNBA ticket at Betjam (laid 10 to win 300 about a week before Yao injury)
