Theres no reason to be worried in philly right now. People jumped on them too soon for their poor play. If last game was any indaction they are on the verge of getting it going. They produced a season high in assists (30) and a season low in turnovers (13). In all 5 losses they registered less than 90 points and in 3 wins they topped 100. The pacers dont have the kind of defense to hold this team to under 90. In the last 5 pacers are giving up 98.0 and if it werent for two games coming against the nets playing without harris it would've been a lot worse. Sixers have given up over 100 only once in 8 games. This is a good match up for the sixers. Pacers arent afraid to live on the 3pt line and the sixers are the best rebounding team in the nba and they do a good job of definding the 3 so as long as they continue to do the things they do well they should be in line to build off a win for the first time this season.

Philly +1...5 units
Philly ML +100...5 units

12-7 +9.05

ha. heres what i saw. didnt want to hijack your thread.

while IND has given up 98 pts in their last 5, PHI has given 96.8. i dont want to put too much stock in their last game vs TOR. did they play better or did TOR just not show up? thats why one game is hard to judge. now overall IND has allowed 95.6 while PHI is at 95.1. very close numbers. overall their offensive shooting is very close PHI 45.1, IND 45.9.
all that being said i have to say that PHI looked better last game, but have not convinced me yet, while i have had my eye on IND since preseason and they have been impressive for the team that they are playing with.
PHI is 1-3 on the road with a -7.5 pt. differential, while IND is 3-1 at home with a +8 pt. differential. also IND has won the last 3 su and covered 7 of last 10.

I am fully aware of everything stated above as well as granger and murphy being back but I still think philly is better and that this is a good match up for them. Pacers have won the last 3 su but those opponents hold a combined 3-14 record on the season. The sixers last 3 games however have all been against playoff teams. Aside from the Celtics all the quality teams indiana has played scored 100 or more. They lack the length and athleticism in the front court to defend so when a good team comes along they'll get the shots they want. That is what should hurt them tonight playing the sixers who are 5th in the nba in points in the paint. We all know Elton Brand is a beast and most people might not know Dalembert averaged a double double last season. Speights the 16th overall pick in the draft is also starting to earn more minutes. With kareem rush being an ex-pacer he could also put up a nice game against his former team. Besides, when you rebound the ball the way the sixers do you match up well with anyone.

If Igudola was playing the way he's playing now in the first 4 or 5 games of the season the sixers would probably be -3 or -4 in this game.
