I agree they cant be trusted... girls could be trusted to a certain degree 20-30 years ago but with the internet and the way they depend so much on being admired by unknowns online bullshit is around the corner all the time. Not to mention girl empowerment nowadays makes them less respectful of relationships and men in general.
We are basically fucked, relationships with nowadays technology is a big big clusterfuck.
I only look at my wife's Facebook when we're away from home and just hanging out, so I don't have any real issues

FB is good for keeping up on who has died and giving support to the surviving family. For ex : a good friend's father dies. Someone typically posts an "RIP" and it hits your feed... you are now a step ahead in planning support to the surviving family.... if that is your thing.
I will guess some dwelling in this forum don't give a rats ass who lives and who dies outside their four walls, but what I described seems to be a good function of FB for me. I am only 48, but I had a good childhood friend die this year and a few fathers of good friends. FB was my first source of info on all three deaths.
