Palmer and the offense will be improving, no doubt about that. But if you look deeper, Marvin Lewis was supposed to do big things there with the defense, which hasn't happened...........

I wouldn't complain about the job Lewis has done...look at the job Billick has done with the Ravens offense...he came from the 15-1 Vikes juggernaut, to 3 yards an a cloud of dust

Coming into this week, the Bengals led the league in takeaways I believe, that is not a bad thing.

by the way- the defense started 4 rookies today and a 2nd year DT who was on the practice squad all of last year. They are going to be very good next year.
