Try, I'm real happy to hear you had a positive experience but it's fair game when you suggest to posters (that would include newbies) to check this $hit sportsbook out. I'll say it once and I will say it until the day I die. Avoid Sportbet sportsbook at all cost! For every good experience I hear, not including Sportbet's many ghost and employees/paid posters here who are/were trying to get them advertise here (check previous topics for confirmation of this), I've heard and still hear about 3 horror stories.

Now you have to give credit to the devil where credit is due. Jake does seem to have the uncanny ability to "impress" just the right people to counteract any bad press his book gets and I would call that great damage control and very precalculated. He manages to get a pass by most forums without advertising here or at a few others where other books get trashed.

I stopped reading at Try, Im real happy to hear you had a positive experience but....

This is a Huge piece of positive news for me and I thank the General and Jake for this opportunity win lose or draw. Others, new or old players should check out this place as well.

I played there and cant recommend it to anyone after reading so many complaints from posters I closed my account and dont plan to play there again!

Hey, well I'm rooting for you also.

I've never had a problem with Sportbet, maybe I'm in the minority. Pays as agreed, and never been threatened or kicked out, only thing was my BB was reduced to $250 for a while (no big deal, back up now). Plus, Ilike Jake. That said, I have read others have not been as fortunate with Jake/SB, so any potential new players have both sides to consider.

sportbet is not my favorite book but jake is a stand up guy. he bailed me out, i won there and got paid no questions asked. keeping my account semi-active there until i see what kind of baseball lines they will offer this season.

Posters especially newbies, stay away from Sportbet. People aren't making up these negative experiences you have read here and other sites. Notice most of the recommendations come from bailout players (which I could understand would be grateful even at a $hit book) and site employees. By the way, how's the advertising negotiation going with Sportbet? They cave in yet? :howdy:

I have found it very frustrating playing at Sportbet. They make me phone in my bets and almost everytime I find a bet I want to make they quote me a different line than what's on their website. I've bought this to Jake's attention but he hasn't told me that he'd fix the situation.

My experience is much the same from above. Jake is one if not THE finest book managers in the business and a GREAT guy to boot. I have been there almost 6 years now and never had a problem with payouts or anything like that.

Great software, great Bonuses, different lines, and of course fast payouts and great customer service.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! A+++!!!

Either way, Sportbet has been and will continue to be a solid place to play.
